minna-san, happy new year!
 apart from the awesome company i had for my japan trip, i visited three prefectures namely tokyo, kyoto and osaka. the most memorable one will have to kyoto the ancient capital. i'm loving the traditional architecture of kyoto and the beautiful scenery it provides BUT the plus point to the kyoto trip was the snow at kiyomizu-dera. i always thought that snow is in the shape of a snowflake (hah! ignorant i know) but the one i saw looks like bits and pieces of crushed ice, like those we see in ice kacang. awesome things we did in Japan (not in order): ✓ had hot oden (+vermicelli) for supper ✓ met mikoto, knew her since 5years ago ✓ joined the crowds in visiting the shintos ✓ saw japan's emperor in person from afar ✓ partied in a not-so-happening roppongi club ✓ stayed out at a 24hr mac till the first train arrived ✓ went to a namco arcade and caught aladdin's genie! ✓ had delicious bento in shinkansen from tokyo to kyoto ✓ stayed in tatami room where we scare ourselves badly ✓ went fushimi-inari and saw thousands of beautiful torii-s ✓ walked down kiyomizu-dera while it was snowing heavily ✓ dressed up as a maiko in a silk kimono /though i look fugly ✓ ate yummy yakitori twice at a friendly izakaya place in umeda misses of the trip (not in order): ✖ NO FREE WIFI IN KYOTO AND OSAKA ✖ too tired/too cold to go for onsen at night ✖ didn't had chance to get a japanese haircut ✖ forgot to eat teppanyaki/sukiyaki/shabushabu ✖ camera had no battery when we were at kyoto gion ✖ couldn't feel the reported 7.0 magnitude earthquake ✖ left my iphone in the hotel and had to return to take it ✖ last but not least, the awful return transit flight JANG! JANG! JANG! JANG! ❤  i like things to be in order so i spent a lot of time planning the little details for my japan trip. hoping it will turned out how i want it to be.. hmmm..  went to a nail parlour at far east plaza to do express manicure in glittering green colour (opi fresh frog of belair). have the christmas feel already! *sparkle sparkle* feel like buying the opi rainbow connection (right). love the colourful glitter!!!   bad. very bad. very very bad. next semester must pull up my socks already!  we went to east coast to have korean food for lunch, ordered too much. AND.. i fell off my bike while riding, covered with cuts and bruises now.   as the world goes by we’ll go on forever 'what have you been doing?' you asked.  shopping. pubbing. dimsum(s). partying. poolside drinking. making merry. and of course, spending a lot of time with the boy.   (http://www.blythedoll.com) just made payment and waiting for my new doll to arrive in my hands! oh. by the way, the doll's name is vanilla. coincidence? hmmmmmm.. Jung Il Woo (정일우) is my new eyecandy. he is so oh-my-goodness CUTE!  ❤ ❤ ❤    LOVE the lava custard bun. i ate one serving all by myself！ 
things to do
☑ tidy my room & throw away unnecessary notes/books ☐ finish knitting my white-blue-pink colourblock muffler ☑ make my way down to sitex to buy another netbook ☐ plan the itinerary for hongkong (find nice dimsum place) ☑ book accommodation and transportation for japan trip ☐ read finish at least one book , start with 'the last shogun' ☐ start practising some japanese vocabulary and phrases ☐ select photographs to develop and put in photo album ☑ get back my refund from streetdeal (charged me twice!!) ☑ visit times book sale at parkway parade and buy stickers ah... i love the feeling of waking up in the late afternoon without the alarm clock. for the rest of the month, i shall attempt to read all the books that i bought since n months ago, play tennis/exercise more (too fat) and finish up my knitting project.  talking about losing weight, i have to gain somemore to motivate me to exercise! so.. i went town and had high tea with siying at goodwood park hotel yesterday.   不开心，那又如何呢？ 美丽的东西大多数是经不起摧残的。 这道理我完全明白。  now it's 'unreasonable' and 'unnecessary'. 我们都有底线，所以当那层底线一旦被攻破的时候，就是我们离开的时刻。  having toffee nut latte and toasty cheese bagel with cream cheese while i study my fujiwara, nobunaga, tokugawa and whatsnot, is bliss. last paper, 화이팅! ☺   wah i think i can have this for tomorrow's breakfast again. drools.  so.. i am going to travel this semester break. シンガポール ✈ 香港 ✈ 東京 ✈ 京都 ✈ 大阪 ✈ シンガポール booked the flight tickets for both countries already.. now i am going to source for transportation and accommodation! i am going japan to dress up as a maiko. ❤  shopping buffet with eadelin at 10am. studied at gateway's starbucks.  you are not helping but making the situation worse.  ***  then we had yummy dinner at sushi tei. ahhh.. my favourite japanese food.  HAPPY DAY! 我觉得最怕人的是娘惹鬼屋！其他的还好罢了、没有很怕人。 我们也乘坐了太空堡垒卡拉狄加和木乃伊室内过山车！很好玩！  好久没吃好吃的点心了~ 我最喜欢的是带子粥和虾仁猪肠粉。*吃到好开心*  i went to orchard to meet up with my mum & sis for lunch, at itacho sushi. we ordered like close to thirty slices of aburi salmon sushi at one go. yummm.  then.. we went shopping! my mum bought me a navy dress from zara, and she offered to buy me the paul smith tote bag too. -happy- but.. i didn't say yes immediately. i'm still considering whether i really need that bag or not. well oh well, although it looks pretty cutesy.  the boy bought me sports attire to play tennis. teehee, so sweet of him. i heart the lovely colour combination of the tank top! pretty much. ❤ and tennis was fun. i want to play again!
